StarRise Gate
StarRise Gates are massive structures that utilize the StarRise Drive FTL technology in order to catapult ships through subspace to a destination up to 50 Light years away.
The Starrise Gateway Network (a.ka. "the Highway') is the life line of The Reach and it allows ships without FTL to travel between the Core Systems
Usage & Recharge time
Commercial Gateways in the Core Systems highway are fired every 5 cycles (it takes 3.14159 cycles to recharge)
Cost of Travel
Vehicles traveling through them are charged a fee based on their mass at the point of travel.
