Backstory-
Raised in the small, poor, farming town Conesorough. Grew up stealing, trading, and working jobs to provide for my family. Though they never knew about my thieving, it was the main source of income and resources. I Never ventured far outside my town but always had a thirst for exploring and adventure. Due to living a fairly sheltered life I never knew how big the world was and how much was out there until I saw it for myself. I felt almost trapped in this small town until I started slowly branching out, traveling to other towns in the area. Family was so important to me though and I didn't want to simply leave them behind. So in my decision for leaving I promised that I would still provide for them.
When exploring the different towns I found myself surveying the people around me and figuring out who the easiest and richest targets would be. I would introduce myself as an adventurer looking for jobs and while doing them I would pocket extra stuff whether it's food, clothing, money, or jewelry. I wouldn't take much every time as to not blow my cover and I would always move on to the next town if/once people became suspicious.
I arrived at a semi large town, where I did my usual of finding jobs and scoping out the easiest targets. My past few towns I came out with little to nothing other than a few pieces of jewelry and the money I earned from a few jobs. I needed to get something back to my family. While in this town I was approached by a half-elf man named Alros. He offered me a job tending to farm work and a place to stay on grounds. This was perfect and he was definitely well off as his land was fairly large. I was able to scope the land out on the job and find entry into his house where I could grab a few items. I snuck around in the middle of the night and entered the house. I was caught in the act by Alros as I was grabbing some jewelry in a small bedroom near the back of the house. He explained that he was apart of a thieves guild. He had been following me for a while and watching my moves in the past few towns and knew that I would find nothing in those towns because they were ran by him and his people. He knew the exact way I robbed and knew that it would be easy to lure me into a job. He then told me either I had to join the guild or he would turn me in. I decided to join the guild.
I received some payment from jobs that he had me on that I was able to send back to my family.
I left a few months before the first mission to visit family. I didn't tell anyone I was leaving or why I left except for Alros. I got the letter back at my family farm and immediately.
