You conjure the retributive spirit of nature to purge your enemies. When you cast this spell, you attempt to bind blossoms to an enemy creature that grow stronger the more damage it takes, exploding when fully charged to cleanse it for good.
Target creature makes a DEX saving throw against your spell save DC. It automatically fails this save if it is restrained, stunned or incapacitated at the time of casting. On a failure, blossoms sprout all over a target that can't be detached or destroyed by any means short of a Greater Restoration spell.
Every time the affected creature takes damage (after reduction) of any kind, the blossoms take that same amount of damage as well. As soon as the duration of this spell ends, your concentration breaks, the blossoms are reduced to 0 Hit Points, or when you choose to end the spell as a reaction immediately after the affected creature took damage, the blossoms explode simultaneously.
The blossoms then deal damage equal to half their missing Hit Points (rounded down) to the target as poison, acid, bludgeoning, piercing or slashing damage (your choice). If the spell ended due to your concentration breaking, the target takes only half that damage. If the blossoms dealt at least 25 damage before reduction, the explosion additionally stuns the target until the end of its next turn.
When cast with a 4th level spell slot, the blossoms have 50 Hit Points.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the blossoms are conjured with 25 additional Hit Points for every spell slot above 4th.
