| Description | You imprint a memory into a black crystal used as the focus component, forgetting the memory in the process. The imprint must be auditory or visual and cannot exceed 10 minutes in length. The memory can be recalled when a trigger condition is met that was set during the casting of the spell and while holding the crystal. The triggering cicrumstance can be as general or as detailed as desired, though it must include physical contact with the crystal. When triggered, the memory imprinted is displayed through the triggering creatures senses, lasting exactly as long as the stored memory. When under the effect of the crystal, you become Fascinated until the end of the memory, or you lose physical contact with the crystal. The crystal may be targeted by the spell "Modify Memory", automatically critically failing its save. The crystal used as the focus of the spell loses the stored memory if destroyed or a new memory is placed into it. Physical damage, such as chipping of the crystal, natural wear from regular handling, or eroison from natural elements will degrade and damage the memory. |
