The cyberscanner is a delicate electronic scanner that reads the subtle and weak signals and fields emitted by cybernetic implants and analyse them. This allows the scanner to identify all the types of implants being in use, as well as their operating frequency. This is commonly used by cybersurgeons to diagnose and repair cybernetic implants.
Using the scanner takes an action and allows you to identify a single implant and its operating frequency. The implant must be visible for direct identification, otherwise you must spend an action to detect the number of implants and where they are located first.
However, it's also used by those of shadier morale fiber in order to identify the counter-resonant frequency of implants in order to disrupt it. Knowing this frequence, someone with a jammer could render an implant inoperable. This variant is a body-mounted cybernetic implant variant of the .
