If this creature successfully performs its Tenebrous Metamorphosis legendary action, it gains the following features:
Multiattack:
This creature can make 2 claw attacks.
Claw:
10 ft., +9 to hit, 2d6 slashing damage and the target is grappled.
Reaper's Bite (Apex):
5 ft., +9 to hit, 2d8 piercing damage and the target may make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. If the creature is frightened, it automatically fails this saving throw. On a failure, the creature cannot regain hit points until the end of the creature's next turn.
Shadowmeld:
The creature liquefies into a shadowy, tar-like substance. While in this form, the creature retains its movement, but cannot talk or make attacks. In addition, it can move through a space 1 inch wide without squeezing and is considered invisible while within darkness. The creature returns to its regular form at the end of its turn.
Fleshwarp:
When this creature takes damage from a magical attack or effect, it may gain resistance to this damage type until the end of its next turn.
