They speak a variety of languages although Low Corgerian serves and a lingua franca. Used to a warm to tropical climate they typically wear light clothing made from cotton, flax or silk. They tend to be organized into middle to large-sized Kingdoms. They have a generally patriarchal civilization has been disrupted by the steadily growing influence of the Alyites and Zalarites. Southrons are sophisticated farmers using large scale irrigation systems, monocrop plantations with pigs and poultry being their favored meat animals. Southron cties tend to be larger than those of the north with extensive inland waterway and road networks connecting major centers.
