You conjure a lash of lightning that arcs from your hand and wraps around a creature within range. The target must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is restrained by the lasso and takes 3d8 lightning damage at the start of each of its turns for the duration. On a successful save, the target is not restrained and takes half damage and the spell ends.   At the end of each of its turns, a restrained creature may repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on a success.
