Spellcasting: The warden is a 6th-level spellcaster with Charisma as their spellcasting ability (spell save DC 13, +5 spell attack bonus). They have the following paladin spells prepared:
Divine Smite. When the warden hits a creature with a melee weapon attack, they can expend one spell slot to deal radiant damage to the target in addition to the weapon's damage. The extra damage is 9 (2d8) for a 1st-level spell slot, plus 1d8 for each level higher than 1st, to a maximum of 5d8. The damage increases by 1d8 if the target is an undead or a fiend, to a maximum of 6d8.
Multiattack. The warden makes two Longsword attacks.
Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5', one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage, or 7 (1d10 + 2) piercing damage if wielded with two hands.
The Pure Heart's Shield of Ezra. The warden shrouds themself in thick whisps of magical mist that shields them from harm. They gain 6 temporary hit points & regain any temporary hit points lost during combat at the start of their next turn. This protection has a duration of 1 minute.
Fighting Style - Protection. When a creature the warden can see attacks another creature that is within 5' of the warden can use their reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll, provided they are carrying a shield.
