Elves

The Elves were the first beings molded by the gods, long before humanity or other mortal races walked the world. Known initially as the Elethar, the Immortals, these early elves were ageless and undying, crafted to be perfect stewards of creation. However, as time passed and the gods' influence waned, their descendants became mortal, though still blessed with heightened senses and longevity.

age: Elves mature at the same rate as humans but live between 400 to 700 years, with High Elves often exceeding these bounds.

Vitality: You gain an additional 6 hit points at 1st level.
Heightened Senses: You gain Darkvision out to 60 feet, and You have proficiency in the Perception skill if you already do you gain Expertise Instead.
Trance: Elves do not sleep but meditate for four hours a day. During this trance, you remain semi-aware of your surroundings, granting you immunity to being surprised while unconscious.
