Elves

A proud species, these Elves have seen their fair share of warring, between themselves and between Human and Asura states. Their mechanical bodies are like armor against a sharp blade. Now they exist in the verdant remains of cities of old. Centuries of war brought down their kingdom, and they now survive by the oil rigs, overgrown with plants and forestation.

Elves are a bio-mechanical species with a long lineage of ruling class peoples. They primarily reside in the cities under King Gaedra's rule. First thought to have derived from the god, Yggleas, other's tell of an ancient, dying race, who crafted these beings as their own offspring, imbuing metal alloy with energies not seen since.

Elves are a proud people, warring with a coldness in their heart fit for their alloy texture. Their human-like face, detailed in stainless mirror, but the black emptiness of their eyes tells nothing of the life inside. War after war, even turning their blade towards their own, Elves have destroyed the kingdoms of old. They now live in overgrown, verdant communities around the broken cities, coveting oil rigs and spouts to survive off of. These communities do quite well for themselves and as a result, has brought upon a new era for them. These Elves all come from different backgrounds. Some kings, some merchants, some soldiers, some peasants. You might find them working with other species, traveling, or adventuring.

Elves are usually shades of gray, black, or silver. Their cold exterior is like that of a mirror, especially since their black eyes are difficult to read. Though something biomechanical turns in their chests, like a beating heart, their unintelligible engines pump black oil through their bodies. Under the metal plates that sit atop their sinews, a texture not unlike flesh, dark and greenish-gray. Their features are like that of men, but as if their armor had swallowed them whole, possessed and immaculate. They stand tall and like royalty from another era, for that is what they are.
