Sunfire judgement
6-level Evocation
Casting Time: 1 action
Range/Area: 100 feet (line, 5 feet wide)
Components: Verbal, Somatic
Duration: Instantaneous
Attack/Save: Dexterity saving throw
Damage/Effect: Fire
A crude imitation of the divine Sun Fire, this spell forms a compact orb of intense orange fire, no larger than a golf ball, shimmering with divine heat. The caster condenses it past its limits, then releases it in a razor-thin beam of destructive flame.
Choose a line 100 feet long and 5 feet wide extending from you in a direction you choose. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 5d8 + 20 fire damage, or half as much on a success.
This spell ignores cover and pierces non-magical objects and barriers, such as stone walls, trees, and buildings. Objects in the path are scorched, melted, or set ablaze if flammable. The flame leaves behind a small, smoldering tunnel through anything it strikes, about the size of a fist.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the fire damage increases by 2d8 for each slot level above 6th.
