Flight: Avians have a flying speed of 30 feet. They can only fly if they are not wearing medium or heavy armor.
Talons: Avians deal unarmed strikes with 1d4 slashing damage.
Soothing song: Songbirds can cast Calm Emotions once per long rest. Charisma is their spellcasting ability.
Melodic memory: Songbirds have advantage on Performance checks using their voice.
Healer's song: Nightingales learn Healing Word, which they can cast once per long rest without a spell slot. When they use Bardic Inspiration or a similar ability, the recipient gains 1d4 temporary hit points. They gain proficiency in Medicine.
