Dungeons & Dragons 2024 (D&D) Feat: Astute

A life of danger has made you particularly responsive to traps and creatures lying in wait. You gain the following benefits.

Knack. You have a number of Knack Dice, which are d6s, equal to your Proficiency Bonus and can spend the dice on the benefits below. You regain your expended Knack Die when you finish a Long Rest.

Shrewd. When you make an Investigation or Perception check to detect the presence of hidden traps or creatures, you can expend 1 Knack Die and add that die to the ability check.

Slippery. When you take damage from an attack or a Dexterity saving throw, you can take a Reaction to expend any number of Knack Dice and reduce the damage by the number you roll on your Knack Dice.
