Small Goblin, Guardsman, Lawful Evil
A Goblin's home requires some degree of guardianship. This includes the Sloms, the lower level of society, all the way to the Lord's quarters. Guardsmen of suitable proportion and of suitable skill are seen as useful, and of the sloms, the typical guard is a representation of a relatively moderate degree of martial skill. In their inception, they are trained differently and operate differently than the actual military, although they work closely with them. They instead are implemented more like an alarm system that acts on its own protocols and tasks. In battle, the guards of the Goblin species are slightly underwhelming fighters with average levels of skill. This means that their actual volatility is reduced in comparison to the stronger and more capable swordsmen or the higher levels of martial prowess, such as legionnaires or vortrupps. They do seem to last longer than expected, though, as they have been recorded defending their territory rather effectively and in some cases, as effectively as a Human or a Dwarfish soldier in terms of resilience and defensive power. Goblin Guardsmen are level II Irithi. Gear: Scimitar, Leather Armor, Znarcisheld (Shield), 10 SP.
