- Shapechanger. Krampus can use its action to polymorph into a slightly differing form that resembles a bird (speed 10 ft. fly 40 ft.), an insect (40 ft., climb 40 ft.), or an amphibian (40 ft., swim 40 ft.), or back into its true form. Its statistics are the same in each form, except for the speed changes noted. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.
- Magic Resistance. Krampus has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
- Aura of Despair. Any creature (other than its master) within 30 ft. of Krampus can't regain hit points.

- Multiattack. Krampus makes a number of attacks equal to half this spell’s level (rounded down).
- Heart Break. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: (1d12 + 4) piercing damage + (spell level) necrotic damage.
- Disheartening Bolt. Ranged Magical Attack: +6 to hit, range 120 ft., one target. Hit: (2d10) necrotic damage.
