Flyby. The abeil doesn't provoke opportunity attacks when it flies out of an enemy's reach.
Hive Mind. Abeil born within the same hive have a form of long-range telepathy similar to the Sending spell. If the abeil is within 25 miles (40 km) of the hive, it can telepathically send a brief message at the start of its turn to another abeil within range. A creature with telepathy can listen to the hive mind communications with a successful Charisma check (DC 16).
Multiattack. The abeil can make a claws & a sting attack, a longsword & a sting attack, or a composite bow attack.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, 5' reach, one target. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 2) 2d4+2 slashing damage. The abeil can immediately attempt a grapple check on the targeted creature with a DC 14 saving throw.
Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, 5' reach, one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) 1d8+2 piercing damage & the target has disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of the abeil's next turn.
Composite Bow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, 100'/450' range, one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) 1d6+3 piercing damage.
Sting. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, 5' reach, one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) 1d6+2 piercing damage & the targeted creature must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 15). Failure: The creature takes 5 (2d4) 2d4 poison damage & gains one level of exhaustion. Success: The creature takes half of the poison damage.
Drone. The abeil beats its wings in such a way to create a lulling, buzzing sound. Each creature within 60' of the abeil must succeed a Constitution saving throw (DC 14) or fall asleep. Abeils are immune to this ability.
Rallying Cry (Recharge 5-6). The abeil gives a rousing battle cry. Up to three creatures within 60' of the abeil have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened for 1 minute. They also gain 10 temporary hit points.
Parry. Trigger: When a hostile creature the abeil can see targets it for an attack. Result: The abeil can gives itself a +3 AC bonus.
Warm to temperate climate. Hill, plain, or desert terrain.
