Venna

The venni are a peculiar people, welcomed and feared by their charm and wit. Though originally hailing from the shifting sands of southwestern Eranica, their affinity for the caravaning life has brought them to nearly every corner of the world, where they trade between all peoples on their travels. Despite their general friendliness and hospitality towards strangers, the venni's impermanence and refusal to settle invite scrutiny in many places. Venni see themselves as children of the winds, instruments of their chief god Khemmayah, a.k.a. Legash'el, as the connective tethers of people and place. Their deep-rooted religion stresses the harmony of community and introduces mysticism as an important aspect of daily life.

Description:

Venni are easily mistaken for humans, having the same basic proportions and features. The average venna has a gold-olive skin tone and dark curly hair matching the men of their homeland, and their only discernible distinction is understated secondary sex characteristics compared to the average human.
