A burst of salty ocean mist erupts from your palms, or from a point of your choice within the spell's hydromancy radius if extended through hydromancy. Each creature in a 15-foot cone make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a target takes an additional 1d4 necrotic damage each time it takes any piercing or slashing damage before the start of your next turn.
If you touch a body of water when casting this spell, you can choose a point within 120 feet of you that is in the same body of water. The spell is cast as if you were at the chosen point, but you must use your own senses.
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the additional damage increases by 1d4 for every two slot levels above 1st.
