6-level Abjuration
A sphere of protective energy surrounds you, shielding you from harm. Until the end of your next turn the shield absorbs up to 50 damage that you would have taken, including the damage from the triggering attack, spell, or effect. Line effects and spells, such as lightning bolt, stop completely at the sphere, if their damage is completely absorbed. Both you and the shield are immune to force damage for the duration.

When you cast the spell using a spell slot of 7th-level or higher, the amount of damage the shield absorbs increases by 10 for each slot above 6th.
