You reach into the shard of glass to pull out an illusory mirror tethered to the mind of a creature you can see within range. The target must make an Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, the creature begins seeing fractured images of itself, each one projecting distorted or horrific versions of itself.
At the start of each of its turns while the spell lasts, the creature takes 3d6 psychic damage and has disadvantage on attack rolls and Ability Checks until the end of its turn. It may attempt the saving throw again at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success
At higher levels: When cast using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
