Hi there! You can call me Kali.   I'm a computer scientist and hobby artist who started worldbuilding because teenage me wanted to create her own sci-fi video game. There's just one tiny problem - if you want to make a game with branching narratives, you have to learn telling a linear story first.   Luckily, in January 2023, a completely different project stumbled into my life. I happened to adopt five Werewolf-Elves who are on a quest to kill a genocidal king... and now they insist that I write a series of novels about them. Well, who am I to argue with a pack of armed and not-quite-sane fighters?
My active project is the fantasy world of Miragia. A deceptively bright and colorful place where life can be quite pleasant... for those who fit in. Expect magic and kinda-but-not-quite familiar fantasy races.

Miragia
My science fiction world is currently on hold. But feel free to explore it if you like non-human aliens, rivaling superpowers, and older civilizations watching as the young ones repeat their mistakes.

The Kaleidoscope System

A nerd with a love for otherworldly creatures that I enjoy bringing to life through various media.

Interests & Hobbies

Various forms of traditional and digital art, programming, and music. I'm also a LARPer and spent several years training with a longsword.

Favorite Movies

I prefer stories that span over several movies. Like the Back to the Future trilogy, both Kingsman Movies, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or the Star Wars Saga.

Favorite TV Series

Too many amazing series out there - but I especially love those that include science fiction, small groups against powerful opponents, or both. Some examples are Doctor Who, Knight Rider, Burn Notice, Person of Interest, or the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Favorite Writers

Frank Schätzing and Terry Pratchett.

Favorite Games

Primarily interactive stories set in fantastic worlds, such as the Mass Effect trilogy, the Myst series, or King's Quest VI.
