Since we were expelled from the Isle of Creed, fourteen councils were called to discuss future relations with the Çéyâda. Despite our differences, there was much which held us together. We had the Dreamer’s words of unity burning within our minds … the Amðeron argued that whilst he did not condone their actions, he understood that we had a responsibility to work towards a peaceful coexistence with our neighbours…
In the ninth rotation since our expulsion, envoys from the Isle of Creed came … an emergency council was called to discuss the envoys …. The envoys began preaching the way of the faith: “Open your hearts, the God of Dreams and be bound within his light for he will show you the way and with his guidance you shall be safe …”
Some had begun to convert … this council convoked the Ministry …. The Ministry sent word to the Isle of Creed that the preaching must stop at once and invited Hariton to come to the negotiation table to discuss the situation further ….
Our message had been executed as per the law of the Isle of Creed … the Hariton was summoned to the Ministry … it was agreed that the preaching would cease and that a messenger of the Zætom could enter the Isle of Creed to deliver a message to the Isle and would thus be unharmed, as he would be treated in high esteem, as were the Zætom ….
For one rotation, the preaching had stopped, but it quickly recommenced … the Amðeron summoned his council again, and discussions began … laws were passed outlawing the practise of preaching … five preachers were arrested under the new law … protests from the Isle of Creed were filed, which prompted the Ministry to be summoned.
The Ministry ordered the release of the preachers … they annulled the law against preaching and commanded that for the time being the Çéyâda must remain on the Isle of Creed. Still, they were allowed representatives …. Negotiations began and lasted for four days … the preaching had thus commenced … the preachers were arrested. Still, the Ministry had declared that this was illegal and ordered their surrender … the Amðeron was outraged and left the Ministry ... tensions were high … The Zéyúma began counter-preaching by having boundless parties … the Isle of Creed increased their preaching ….
On the twenty-first day of the fifth rotation of the eighth revolution, the Preacher Zurâníous killed two men for their boundless dreaming … a trial was held … the Isle of Creed was furious and ordered the immediate release of their preacher, as the Baknahan allowed the preacher to destroy those who opposed the words…. The Ministry …. This was an outrage .... the Hariton declared that his preacher was protected …. A small army of the Zealots came to the shore, but quickly the Zætom acted ….
