{"name":"Beastkin","overview":"Born between civilization and the wilds, beastkin are as\r\nvaried as the animal kingdom itself. Sometimes called\r\nwildkin or werefolk, beastkin universally share the\r\nhumanoid form of humans, elves, or dwarves, but have\r\npronounced traits of a specific beast, like the wings of a\r\nhawk, the tail of a scorpion, tall rabbit ears, massive owl\r\neyes, a crab-like carapace, the thick wiry hair of a boar,\r\nrazor-sharp shark teeth, or the bony horns of an ox. Some\r\nbeastkin show only slight similarities to their bestial\r\nforerunners, while others resemble bipedal versions of\r\ntheir animal kin.\r\n\r\nThe precise origin of the beastkin is unclear. Some believe\r\nthey are relatives of the intelligent beasts that hold court\r\nin the fey realms. Others claim they are descendants of\r\nlycanthropes or other cursed beings. Whatever the case, all\r\nbeastkin share a tie to the natural world, and many choose\r\nto live alongside their bestial forebears.\r\n\r\nMany young beastkin are driven by curiosity to seek out\r\nother civilizations and far-flung environments. Though\r\nsuch wanderlust may last for years, most beastkin return\r\nto their natural homes in later life, where they often act as\r\nwardens of the territory in which they were born. \r\n\r\nWhile all beastkin contend with primal urges, they are\r\nquick to form unshakable bonds with those who show\r\nthem compassion and loyalty, humanoid or beast.","age":"20-30","size":"Small","speed":"30ft","description":"[b]Age.[\/b] Beastkin mature far more quickly than most\r\nhumanoids, reaching adulthood within 5 years.
