File on Daisy Palmer

Daisy Palmer WayCorp Field Operative — Mercenary Division · 25 years of service   PHYSICAL PROFILE ● Right eye missing, lost during Operation Deep Meridian. Wears no prosthetic; the socket is scarred shut. ● Laceration scarring across the entire left side of the face, starting from the mouth up till her forehead. ● Left ear is almost destroyed. ● Exceptionally large and physically imposing. ● Minimal cybernetic profile: a standard-issue neural jack for Grid access and a hardened cochlear comms implant.   PERSONALITY ● Commanding presence. Her physical stature is not to be underestimated. ● Does well under pressure. ● Difficult to read. Her face does not betray many emotions. ● Has a dangerous temper when it comes to insubordination. One of her junior crewmates had to be rushed for surgery when he questioned her once. ● Operates via strict moral code. Company objective first, then no crewmate left behind and finally her own well being.   Note: Her psychiatric evaluation after operation Deep Meridian does not show any lasting trauma. Dr. Evans precautions should not be heeded when it comes to assigning her to new missions as she remains expertly cool-headed. Prescription for sleeping pills necessary in order to regulate her REM cycle.   SERVICE RECORD Recruited into WayCorp's Mercenary Division at fourteen, straight from the Vega Prime outer districts. Rose through survey-escort contracts before transitioning to deep-field security and hostile-environment operations in the Outer Rim. Over two decades she became one of the division's most dependable senior operatives. She is the kind of soldier you sent when you can't afford failure.   OPERATION DEEP MERIDIAN— Classified WARNING! THIS FILE IS HIGHLY CLASSIFIED. PLEASE CONSULT THEMANAGEMENT FOR ACCESS FIRST! A six-person WayCorp extraction team, including Palmer as head of mission and captain, was deployed to a dead system on the edge of the Outer Rim. The official objective: recover survey data from a disabled drone near the wreck of an ancient predecessor structure partially buried in a moon's crust. The structure matched dimensional profiles associated with pre-human relics catalogued after the discovery of the U.E.F. London. Contact was lost with the team for eleven days. When Palmer resurfaced, she was alone, critically injured and her dropship running on fumes. A partial debrief was given by her before being sedated. Four of her teammates are confirmed dead. One is unaccounted for. What she saw inside the structure remains sealed under a WayCorp Tier-5 information hold.
