Owen Briggs
Owen Briggs is officially listed as a general spacehand, but in practice he seems to help everyone aboard the ship. On any given day he might assist engineers with repairs, unload cargo, support scientific teams, or help security prepare equipment.
Friendly and dependable, Owen has become one of the social centers of the Ascendant. He knows nearly everyone aboard by name and is often the first person to notice when someone is struggling.
Few people realize how observant he truly is. Beneath his easygoing personality lies someone who notices far more than he lets on.
