+1 AC when worn.   The overmantle emits a 10-foot radius of dim light that can only be extinguished by magical darkness. Friendly creatures within the light gain advantage on saving throws against being frightened.   The Overmantle of the Guiding Light consists of two symmetrical shoulder coverings crafted from layered silk brocade, reinforced with an underlying framework of hardened leather. The outermost layer is a white silk panel, embroidered with a helflinz pattern in golden thread. Each sunburst measures approximately three inches in diameter and is evenly spaced across the surface, with no visible overlap. The embroidery is executed with fine, consistent stitching, ensuring clarity and durability. Beneath the silk panel lies a secondary layer of deep red silk, visible only at the edges where it forms a narrow border. This border is approximately one-half inch wide and features an additional pattern of interlocking geometric shapes, rendered in silver thread. The underside of the pauldrons is lined with smooth leather, tanned to a pale cream color and stitched with waxed thread. The pauldrons are shaped to rest comfortably on the wearer’s shoulders, with a slight downward slope to accommodate arm movement. They are secured to the cuirass via two ginelwa hooks on each shoulder, attached to small leather loops sewn into the pauldrons’ base. These hooks are rectangular with beveled edges and are polished to a reflective finish. A series of golden tassels hangs from the outer edge of each pauldron, extending approximately six inches downward. The tassels are made from fine ginelwa wire, individually twisted and capped with small, polished beads.
