The outer surface features a raised relief of a grove of trees, their trunks straight and their canopies forming a continuous arch that mirrors the curve of the band. The trees are stylized, their leaves suggested by a series of overlapping crescents that create a textured, almost shimmering effect. The recessed areas of the design are treated with a patina that deepens the contrast between the relief and the background. The ring's edges are finely milled, providing subtle ridges for added grip. On the underside of the band, invisible when worn, is a single engraved root extending horizontally. The interior is lined with a thin layer of polished gelwed, ensuring a smooth and comfortable fit. At the ring’s crown, where the grove's tallest trees meet, a small inset of blackened sinwed forms the silhouette of a barren branch. Its weight and craftsmanship convey a sense of solemn dignity, appropriate for a soldier.
