While this polished agate is on your person, you gain a +1 bonus to ability checks and saving throws.
This polished stone is rendered to look like a black cat's face.
Cautious adventurers will know that these stones are sometimes cursed by the ill-minded or mischeivous demons. If a stone of luck is cursed, it is actually a stone of bad luck and, although it does grant the expected +1 bonus to ability checks and saving throws, it additionally imposes a -2 penalty to the same throws. Should an adventurer determine their stone is cursed, they may attempt to correct the situation by breaking the curse. If they succeed in doing so, though, they will become cursed with an insatiable need to keep the cured stone of luck on their person at all times.
