Very Rare Requires Attunement

1 minute sharpening a blade on this stone grants +1 attack and damage rolls. After sharpening, roll 1d6. On a 1, the sharpened weapon disintegrates. The attuned owner of the stone can skip the die roll and also coat the whetstone in certain oils and potions to additionally imbue a sharpened weapon with a related magic property. Any property imbued in this fashion wears off after 8 hours, or when the weapon is again sharpened against the stone for 1 minute. Only the attuned owner of the stone may touch it without receiving damage. Anyone else will take 7d4 acid damage the moment they touch the stone and again once every hour they persist in holding it.

This whetstone is made of silvered aurichalcum, which is a dull mixture of green and silver. Those familiar with the material will know that it is highly caustic to the touch.
