Uncommon Evocation
- Disruption. When you hit a fiend or an undead with this magic weapon, that creature takes an extra 2d6 radiant damage. If the target has 25 hit points or fewer after taking this damage, it must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be destroyed. On a successful save, the creature becomes frightened of you until the end of your next turn. Once a creature has been destroyed by this property, the walking stick shatters in a flash of light, and is destroyed.
This handcrafted walking stick is made of Sarren wood-- a magical wood from Willow trees that grow in the Fey Wilds. Its inherent magic allows it to make contact with ethereal creatures, but this item has been enhanced to be a deadly defensive tool against Fiends and Undead for humble travelers through the wilderness.
When you run your hands along the smooth bark, indiscernible flashes of the tree's memories sing through your head. It may have once been a person, long ago, or maybe the Willows of Sylver absorb a bit more than nutrients from the soil in which it grows.
