Hook's Lever Action redesign of the Laser Musket concept is a wholly original creation, combining parts from an old western trail carbine, the alternator gearbox combo of the laser musket miniaturized by Jason, and parts from the AER9 Laser Rifle along with various other bespoke components grants it greater power than standard laser rifles and a higher fire rate than the laser musket. Featuring a lever instead of a rank and containing a smaller alternator, Hook's design is unable to be overcharged with multiple actuations of the mechanism but sports a higher thermal energy to mechanical energy ratio than even the Reliant II Laser Musket.
