When you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack using this ammunition, the target must succeed on a
DC 13 Constitution saving throw or suffer a surge of electrical energy. A creature wearing metal armor makes this saving throw with disadvantage.
On a
failed save, the target takes an additional
1d4 lightning damage, and its
movement speed is reduced by 10 feet until the end of its next turn.
On a
successful save, the target takes
half as much lightning damage and suffers
no movement penalty.
The movement speed reduction from this effect does not stack with other similar effects.
