This beautiful steel helmet is undented, unscratched and more reflective than it should. It is made from steel that shines like silver in bright light and has two golden wings adorning it. The helmet is warm to the touch, not burning but instead something more primal, a feeling of hope radiates its wearer.   Magical Armor. You gain a +1 bonus to AC while wearing the Helmet of Radiance.   Defender of Good. You suffer a -5 penalty to attack rolls against creatures with a good-alignment and good-aligned creatures gain a +5 bonus to any saving throw it makes against you. If you kill a good-aligned creature you gain one level of exhaustion.   Radiant Battery. Whenever you have dealt radiant damage to a fiend or undead on your turn, you gain one Radiant Charge at the end of your turn. The Helmet of Radiance can hold up to 10 Radiant Charges. The Helmet loses one charge when you finish a long rest.   Radiant Empowerment. You can expend your Radiant Charges in the following ways:  
  • When you hit a creature with an attack that deals radiant damage, you can choose to expend a number of Radiant Charges up to your Proficiency Bonus to add 1d6 radiant dam
age to the damage  
  • When you cast a spell that deals radiant damage, you can choose to expend a number of Radiant Charges up to your Proficiency Bonus to add 1d6 radiant damage to the damage for every two Radiant Charges that you spent.
