Maneuvers
Aimed Shot - Fire one AP III (Intermediate) or HP V (Rifle) shot with a bonus of +7 to hit as an attack before moving on your turn
Controlled Burst - Fire three AP II (Intermediate) or two HP III (Rifle) shots instead of a normal burst with a bonus to hit equal to your Proficiency Bonus, as an attack.
Special Maneuvers
Follow-Through - Spend time lining up a shot to pierce multiple targets. On a successful attack against a primary target, one extra target in the line of fire within the weapon's effective range takes half the rolled damage. You can perform this maneuver once per turn, up to a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus per Short or Long rest.
One In The Pocket - You use your mastery of prediction to track a target behind cover. As an Attack action, make a single burst attack against a chosen target, ignoring their cover bonus to Evasion. On a successful hit, the target is marked, has its Armor Grade reduced by 1 for the rest of combat, and all attacks made by allies until the end of your next turn ignore the cover bonus for that target. Once you have used this maneuver, you may not use it again until you finish a Short or Long rest.

Special Properties
Cartridge Conversion - On completion of a Short or Long Rest, you may change the R-21 to an Intermediate configuration, changing the cartridge used and allowing for a higher fire rate but cutting the range from 225/450 to 180/360. Changing it back requires the same time duration.
Loading: Uses a bonus action to fast reload (involves dropping the magazine to pick up later), requires a full action to reload
Jamming: On a critical failure, roll a 1D12, if it lands on a 3 or less, the weapon is jammed and requires an action point to clear the jam

A late pre-cataclysm design meant to replace the aging Volkner KG3 as the primary Paraktian armed forces standard issue rifle, the R-21 boasts a high degree of modularity and is also very lightweight and durable for what it is. It is effectively based on the Morgan Arms A-15 platform and is ambidextrous with its control systems. It can use both intermediate and rifle cartridges, but has to be converted during a short or long rest. The Erimipoli guard adopted and replicated this weapon for its interoperability with other weapons platforms as ammunition reserves started dwindling.
