  • Charged Hammerstrike - As a Bonus Action, you power up the Pānga's hammer by expending a charge, empowering your following Attacks until the start of your next turn with it. Each attack deals 5d10 Thunder damage in a 15 ft. cone while it is active.
  • Contact Trigger - While Charged Hammerstrike is active, entering a space adjacent to an intended target automatically triggers the weapon's hammer function in a 15 foot cone without spending an Attack action, dealing 3d10 Thunder damage. All targets in the cone must make a Dexterity saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Strength or Intelligence modifier. On a failed save, a target takes the rolled damage, then is pushed back to the edge of the cone and knocked prone. If the target that failed its save collides with an object, another target, or surface, they take Falling damage for each 5 feet they were moved. On a successful save, a target only takes half damage.
  • Hammer Launch - While Charged Hammerstrike is active, you may use this maneuver once per turn as a Free Action to launch yourself up to 30 feet in a direction of your choosing. The hammer has movement arresting devices which eliminate fall damage when you land after using this maneuver.
  • Hardlight Shield - Project a shield by expending a Charge as a Free Action, granting Full Cover and the ability to deflect attacks until the start of your next turn. While this shield is active, you cannot be flanked, nor have your cover neutralized. If you are to be hit by an Attack, you may choose to spend your Reaction to deflect the attack back at the attacker. If it is a melee attack, the attacker receives the damage they would have dealt to you as Radiant damage. If it is a ranged attack, the attacker receives half of the damage they would have dealt back at them as Radiant damage. Otherwise, the shield will absorb half of the damage that would have been dealt to you.
  • Suspensor Field - Expend a charge to hold a willing target or objects weighing up to 500 lbs within a 30 foot cone, emanating from where you stand as a Bonus Action or Reaction. Unwilling targets must make a Strength saving throw against the weapon's Area of Effect save DC or be restrained. At the end of each of their turns they may make the Strength saving throw again to attempt to end the effects early. This effect remains active until you deactivate it as a Free Action or until you make an attack. While the effect is active, a target is suspended in the air and can be moved up to 30 feet away from you or into an unoccupied space within 5 feet of you. You may also move with the target as you move it.

  • Heavy
  • Mining Equipment - Gives advantage on any checks to obtain materials from rocks by spending a charge.
  • Passive Recharging - On finishing a Long rest, this weapon regains all of its charges. On finishing a Short rest, this weapon regains 2 charges.
  • Staggering - Upon making a successful attack, this weapon prevents a target from taking an Opportunity Attack until the start of your next turn
  •   Handling: 2-Handed

An experimental, two-handed concussion-based impactor hammer that is held like a chainsaw. The Pānga projects a hardlight field, which protects the wielder. The impactor portion of the weapon utilizes a contact-based sensor which then unleashes a powerful shockwave when the hammer's impact mechanism abruptly stops, hence the name, which literally translates to 'effect' from Te Reo. Its original design was meant to function as a mineral extraction device, so it has a hardlight-based stasis field which it can emit to prevent ore from flying off in all directions, therefore decreasing likelihood of injuries.
