Legendary Trial of Selfless Heroism

Heroic Flight:

While wearing Blankieman, you gain a flying speed of 60 feet, allowing you to soar through the air with ease.

Secret Identity:

While wrapped in Blankieman, you are magically unrecognizable. Creatures cannot discern your identity by any means, including magical ones, and perceive you only as a generic heroic figure.

Enhanced Strength and Speed:

While wearing Blankieman, your Strength score increases to 24, and your walking speed increases by 20 feet. If your Strength is already 24 or higher, it increases by an additional 2 points.

Aura of Comfort:

Allies within a 30-foot radius of you gain advantage on saving throws against being frightened or charmed, and they heal 1d10 hit points whenever they start their turn within the aura.

Enhanced Properties (Post-Attunement)

Invincible Spirit:

While attuned to Blankieman, you gain resistance to all damage while flying or while in direct pursuit of protecting the innocent.

Unstoppable Hero:

You gain the ability to cast Haste on yourself at will without expending a spell slot. While under the effects of Haste, you gain advantage on all Strength checks and saving throws, and your flying speed increases to 120 feet.

Guardian’s Transformation:

While wearing Blankieman, you can use an action to assume the form of an idealized hero for 1 minute. In this form:

• Your Strength score becomes 30.

• You gain immunity to being frightened or charmed.

• You can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on an attack roll made against an ally within 10 feet of you.

Special Ability: Blanket of Justice

Once per long rest, you can invoke Blanket of Justice, channeling the full protective power of Blankieman:   For 1 minute, you become an unstoppable force of peace and joy. While in this state:

• You gain immunity to all damage except necrotic and psychic.

• You can grapple and restrain creatures of any size as if they were Medium, regardless of your own size.

• As an action, you can release a burst of radiant energy, forcing all hostile creatures within 60 feet to make a DC 22 Wisdom saving throw.
  • On a failed save, they take 6d12 radiant damage, are knocked prone, and cannot attack you or your allies for the next round.
  • On a successful save, they take half damage and are not knocked prone.

Blankieman is a well-loved blanket, its edges frayed and worn, with patches and stitched designs of stars, clouds, and rainbows. Despite its humble and childlike appearance, this blanket carries the divine essence of Jovia, goddess of Youth, Childhood, Peace, and Joy. When worn, it wraps the user in a cocoon of nostalgic comfort, transforming them into an anonymous protector of justice and joy.

The artifact grants its wearer the powers of flight, extraordinary speed and strength, and a “secret identity” that makes them unrecognizable to all who know them, allowing them to act freely as a force for good.
