Lunarix

Weapon

Legendary Trial of the Lunar Guardian

Lunar Grace:
You can use Dexterity instead of Strength for attack and damage rolls with this weapon.
Moonlit Cleave:
When you hit a creature with Lunarix, you can unleash a wave of moonlight in a 10-foot radius around the target. All hostile creatures in the area must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or take 3d8 radiant damage. This ability can be used three times per long rest.
Lunar Stride:
As a bonus action, you can teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see, leaving behind a faint shimmer of moonlight. You can use this ability three times per short rest.
Phase Slash:
When you make an attack with Lunarix, you can target a creature within 15 feet instead of the normal reach. The blade phases through space, striking the target with spectral force.

Enhanced Properties (Post-Attunement)

When attuned, Lunarix reveals its celestial potential, granting unparalleled control over its moonlit power.
Radiant Wrath:
The radiant damage dealt by Lunarix increases to 4d8. On a critical hit, the target is blinded until the end of your next turn. Beacon of the Moon:
  • Allies within 30 feet of you gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier at the start of their turns.
  • Hostile creatures in the aura have disadvantage on Wisdom saving throws.
Eclipse Strike:
Once per short rest, you can unleash a powerful cleave infused with moonlight. Creatures in a 30-foot line must succeed on a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw or take 6d10 radiant damage and be knocked prone. On a successful save, they take half damage and are not knocked prone.

Special Ability: Lunar Ascension

Once per long rest, you can invoke Lunarix’s full power, becoming a celestial avatar of the moon for 1 minute. During this time:
  • You emit bright moonlight in a 60-foot radius, and magical darkness within the area is dispelled.
  • Your movement speed doubles, and you can fly at a speed of 60 feet.
  • When you hit a creature with Lunarix, it takes an additional 3d10 radiant damage, and its movement speed is reduced to 0 until the start of your next turn.
  • Allies within the light gain advantage on attack rolls and saving throws.
When the effect ends, you must succeed on a DC 18 Constitution saving throw or suffer one level of exhaustion.

Lunarix is a magnificent glaive forged from Divinium, with a shaft of pale silver and a curved blade that glows with a faint, ethereal light. The weapon’s surface is inscribed with celestial runes, and when wielded, it emits a soft hum reminiscent of the stillness of the night. Under moonlight, the weapon radiates power, becoming a beacon of Lunis’s divine grace. As a weapon of the goddess of Night, Moon, and Lycans, Lunarix is both a tool of destruction and a symbol of celestial balance.
