Legendary Trial of Leadership

Aura of Command:
While wearing the cape, creatures of your choice within a 30-foot radius must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw to defy your direct orders. On a failed save, they are compelled to follow your command for up to 1 minute (as per the Command spell, but without using a spell slot).  
Imperial Presence:
You gain advantage on Persuasion and Intimidation checks. If you are already proficient in these skills, your proficiency bonus is doubled.  
Mantle of Leadership:
Allies within 30 feet gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks as long as they can see you.  
Protection of the Crown:
As a reaction to an ally within 30 feet being targeted by an attack or harmful spell, you can impose disadvantage on the attack roll or force the caster to make a DC 18 Concentration check to maintain the spell.  

Enhanced Properties (Post-Attunement)

When attuned, the Cape of Authority amplifies its wearer’s influence and protection over allies, making them a paragon of leadership.  
Unyielding Command:
The Aura of Command ability extends to a 60-foot radius, and creatures that fail their saving throw are also frightened of you for the duration.
Ruler’s Resolve:
You gain immunity to being frightened or charmed, and allies within 30 feet share this immunity while you are conscious.
Banner of Victory:
Once per short rest, you can unfurl the cape to rally your allies. All creatures of your choice within 60 feet gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + your level and advantage on all attack rolls and saving throws for 1 minute.

Special Ability: Sovereign’s Dominion

Once per long rest, you can invoke the Cape of Authority to create an area of undeniable command in a 60-foot radius for 1 minute. During this time:  
  • Hostile creatures must succeed on a DC 22 Charisma saving throw at the start of their turn or be incapacitated for 1 minute, overwhelmed by your presence.
  • Allies in the area gain +5 to their AC and resistance to all damage.
  • At the start of each of your turns, you can issue a command to all creatures of your choice within the area. Creatures that fail a DC 22 Wisdom saving throw are compelled to follow the command as if under the Mass Suggestion spell.
When the effect ends, the area is suffused with an aura of respect, granting allies advantage on Charisma-based skill checks for the next hour.
