Legendary Trial of the Trickster

Illusory Double:
As an action, you can pluck a bead from the necklace and toss it into an unoccupied space within 30 feet. The bead creates an illusory duplicate of yourself that lasts for 1 minute or until destroyed. The duplicate mimics your movements, and creatures that target you must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or mistakenly target the duplicate instead.  
Confounding Burst:
As a reaction to being attacked, you can crush one bead to release a burst of confounding magic. All creatures within 10 feet of you must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or be blinded and deafened for 1 minute. You can use this ability three times per long rest.  
Prankster’s Escape:
When you take damage, you can use your reaction to vanish in a puff of smoke, reappearing in an unoccupied space within 60 feet. The spot you vacated is filled with illusory snakes, pies, or other harmless but distracting imagery.  
Hilarity Aura:
While wearing the necklace, you emit an aura of playful chaos in a 10-foot radius. Hostile creatures in the area must succeed on a DC 18 Charisma saving throw at the start of their turns or have disadvantage on all attack rolls and saving throws until the end of their turn as they’re overwhelmed with uncontrollable laughter.  

Enhanced Properties (Post-Attunement)

When attuned, the Beads of Bamboozling amplify their trickster powers, granting the wearer more creative ways to confound and confuse.  
Double Trouble:
The Illusory Double ability now creates two duplicates instead of one.
Cascading Pranks:
When you use Prankster’s Escape, you can leave behind an illusory creature (e.g., a swarm of bees or a roaring bear) that lasts for 1 minute and distracts enemies, imposing disadvantage on all Perception checks made to find you.
Trickster’s Insight:
You gain advantage on Deception, Sleight of Hand, and Persuasion checks.

Special Ability: Festival of Fools

Once per long rest, you can unleash the full power of the Beads of Bamboozling, creating an aura of pure chaos in a 60-foot radius for 1 minute. During this time:  
  • Hostile creatures must succeed on a DC 22 Wisdom saving throw at the start of their turns or fall prone in uncontrollable laughter for 1 minute. On a successful save, they have disadvantage on attack rolls until the end of their turn.
  • All illusion spells you cast are treated as if cast at their highest level.
  • Allies within the area gain advantage on all attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks, as the aura fills them with playful confidence.
When the effect ends, the area is left sparkling with magical motes of light and faint laughter that lasts for 10 minutes.
