Legendary Trial of the Mountain

Titan’s Might:

While wielding Bróndseax, your Strength score increases to 25, and your carrying capacity is tripled.

Battlefield Command:

As an action, you can use Bróndseax to inspire your allies. All allies within a 60-foot radius gain advantage on attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks until the start of your next turn.

Unstoppable Force:

When you make a melee attack with Bróndseax and move at least 10 feet toward the target, you can add an additional 2d12 slashing damage to the attack. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 18 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Enhanced Properties (Post-Attunement)

Colossal Strength:

Your Strength score increases to 30. Additionally, you gain advantage on all Strength-based ability checks and saving throws.

Warlord’s Resilience:

You gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical weapons.

Seismic Strike:

Once per turn, when you hit a creature with Bróndseax, you can unleash a seismic wave that forces all creatures in a 30-foot line behind the target to make a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, creatures take 6d10 force damage and are knocked prone. On a successful save, they take half damage.

Special Ability: Avalanche of War

Once per long rest, you can invoke the Avalanche of War, summoning the full might of Nidses to crush your enemies:  

• As an action, bring Bróndseax down upon the ground with devastating force, creating a 60-foot radius shockwave centered on you.

• All hostile creatures in the area must make a DC 20 Strength saving throw or take 10d12 force damage and be knocked prone. On a successful save, creatures take half damage and are not knocked prone.

• The terrain within the radius becomes difficult terrain for 1 minute as cracks and upheavals scatter the battlefield.

• Allies in the area are bolstered by your unyielding strength, gaining temporary hit points equal to your level and advantage on attack rolls and saving throws for 1 minute.

Bróndseax is a colossal, double-bladed greataxe forged from unyielding black iron and tempered in the fires of war. The blade is etched with intricate runes of strategy and battle, glowing faintly with an aura of unbreakable resolve. Its haft is wrapped in worn leather, reinforced with steel bands, and heavy enough that it feels like wielding a mountain itself.

Forged by Nidses, goddess of Tactics, Strength, War, Strategy, and Soldiers, this weapon is more than just a tool of destruction—it is a symbol of leadership and unrelenting determination. Only those deemed truly worthy by their strength of body and clarity of mind can wield this mighty artifact.
