Legendary Trial of Harmony
Melody of Healing:
As an action, you can play a soothing melody, restoring 5d8 hit points to all creatures of your choice within 30 feet. This ability can be used three times per long rest.
Inspiring Harmony:
When you play the Lute of Joy during a short rest, all creatures within 60 feet gain an additional 1d10 hit points from any Hit Dice they expend.
Chords of Emotion:
You can evoke powerful emotions with your music. As an action, you can play a melody to impose one of the following effects on creatures of your choice within 60 feet:
- Hope: Allies gain advantage on saving throws against fear or charm effects.
- Despair: Enemies must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or have disadvantage on attack rolls and saving throws for 1 minute.
Soul Resonance:
The Lute of Joy amplifies the emotional essence of your spells. Whenever you cast a spell that targets a creature’s emotions (e.g., Calm Emotions, Charm Person), the spell’s DC increases by 2.
Enhanced Properties (Post-Attunement)
When attuned, the Lute of Joy reveals its divine potential, enabling its wielder to channel Psyche’s power more fully.
Resonant Healing:
The healing from Melody of Healing increases to 8d8 hit points.
You can use this ability four times per long rest instead of three.
Euphoric Aura:
While playing the lute, you emit an aura of joy in a 30-foot radius. Allies in the aura gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier at the start of their turns.
Crescendo of Redemption:
Once per long rest, you can play a melody that inspires redemption. Enemies within 60 feet must succeed on a DC 20 Charisma saving throw or be charmed by you for 1 minute. While charmed, creatures are compelled to listen to you and cannot take hostile actions.
Special Ability: Symphony of the Soul
Once per long rest, you can invoke the Lute of Joy’s full power to create a magical symphony that resonates with the souls of all who hear it. As an action:
- All allies within 60 feet regain hit points equal to half their maximum hit points and are freed from all conditions (charmed, frightened, paralyzed, etc.).
- Hostile creatures within 60 feet must succeed on a DC 22 Wisdom saving throw or be incapacitated for 1 minute as they are overwhelmed by the music’s beauty. On a successful save, they take 8d10 psychic damage.
When the symphony ends, a lingering feeling of peace fills the area, granting allies advantage on saving throws for 1 hour.
