Legendary Trial of the Victor

Returning Weapon:

When thrown, Elysial instantly returns to the wielder’s hand after the attack, regardless of distance.

Unerring Strike:

When you throw Elysial, it ignores all cover and resistance to nonmagical damage.

Radiant Lance:

When you throw the javelin, you can choose to unleash a radiant lance. The javelin transforms into a streak of divine light, forcing all creatures in a 5-foot-wide, 60-foot-long line to make a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, creatures take 6d10 radiant damage or half as much on a success.

Guided by Victory:

The first attack roll you make with Elysial each turn has advantage.

Enhanced Properties (Post-Attunement)

Once attuned, Elysial reveals its full divine potential, transforming the wielder into a master of ranged combat and precision.  

Swift Triumph:

When you throw Elysial, your movement speed increases by 20 feet until the end of your turn.

Piercing Light:

Critical hits with Elysial deal an additional 6d10 radiant damage and blind the target for 1 minute (DC 18 Constitution saving throw to end the effect).

Aerial Dominance:

When you throw Elysial while flying or elevated, the attack deals an additional 2d10 thunder damage as the strike resonates with the force of triumph.

Empowered Throw:

Once per turn, when you hit a creature with Elysial, you can choose to knock it back 20 feet and knock it prone.

Special Ability: Arc of Victory

Once per long rest, you can invoke Arc of Victory, summoning the power of triumph to devastate your foes:  

• Throw Elysial into the air, where it splits into a dozen radiant javelins. Each javelin targets a creature of your choice within a 60-foot radius, making a ranged attack with your bonuses.

• On a hit, each javelin deals 4d10 radiant damage.

• Creatures hit by at least one javelin must make a DC 20 Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the end of their next turn.

After the ability ends, Elysial reforms in your hand, glowing brilliantly.
