Maneuvers
Carry the Momentum - Once per turn, if you miss the target with an attack, you can bring the weapon back around and make another attempt at an Attack for 1d10 AP I Slashing damage.
Parry - When an opponent attempts to attack you in Melee range, you may attempt to intercept the attack and use your Reaction. Make an attack roll against the target, if your attack roll beats theirs, you parry the attack and deflect the blow, taking no damage.
Piercing Strike - Make an attack with the tip of the blade for 2d10 AP IV Piercing damage.
Riposte - Immediately after a successful parry, make a melee attack against your attacker.
Special Maneuvers
Sweeping Attack - As an attack while the weapon is held in both hands, make a sweeping attack with the blade, dealing 1d10 AP I Slashing Damage to up to three targets within 5 feet of you. Each target must make a Dexterity saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + Your Proficiency Bonus + Your Strength Modifier or take damage. Polearm users have disadvantage on their saving throw against this maneuver. Once you have used this maneuver, you must wait until after the end of your next turn before you can use it again.

An old Eadwellian design harking back to long before the Machinist's Revolution, the claymore refers specifically to a large sword from the Eadwellian Isles. The weapon requires two hands to wield effectively. Its crossguards are angled slightly upwards and away from the hilt. Originally it was built to create spacing for the person wielding it, allowing it to deflect and sometimes even destroy polearms with wide, sweeping moves. Made of lighter alloys and better materials than the ones from back then, the claymore has received a second life in the post-cataclysm world with melee gaining favor as ammunition is a precious resource. This design has been copied throughout much of Mudira-Karrah for its efficacy against popular melee weapons such as spears and polearms.
