  • Carry the Momentum - Once per turn, if you miss the target with an attack, you can bring the weapon back around and make another attempt at an attack for 1d10 AP I Slashing damage.
  • Parry - When an opponent attempts to attack you in Melee range, you may attempt to intercept the attack and use your Reaction. Make an attack roll against the target, if your attack roll beats theirs, you parry the attack and deflect the blow, taking no damage.
  • Piercing Strike - Make an attack with the tip of the blade for 3d10 AP IV Piercing damage.
  • Riposte - Immediately after a successful parry, make a melee attack against your attacker.
  •   Special Maneuvers
  • Guard Stance - After making an attack and while in melee range of only one opponent, raise your weapon with the tip pointed down and your hand raised high as a Bonus Action. Your chosen opponent has Disadvantage on their melee attacks against you, you have Advantage on your parries, don't need to spend your Reaction to Parry, but you cannot Riposte until the start of your next turn. Once you have used this maneuver, you must wait until after the end of your next turn before you can use it again.
  • Sweeping Attack - As an attack while the weapon is held in both hands, make a sweeping attack with the blade, dealing 2d10 AP I Slashing Damage to up to three targets within 5 feet of you. Each target must make a Dexterity saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + Your Proficiency Bonus + Your Strength Modifier or take damage. Polearm users have disadvantage on their saving throw against this maneuver. Once you have used this maneuver, you must wait until after the end of your next turn before you can use it again.

  • Maiming - This weapon has the potential to Maim the first target hit when rolling a critical success on an attack roll.
  •   Weight: 5   Handling: 2-Handed

A tremendous sword made by Oruni hands, the Gigunda boasts a long, slender blade, which has been used to great effect to create spacing between the user and their opponents. Its lighter weight versus the older Eadwellian Claymore makes it much faster in skilled hands.
