Lower Shield - As a Bonus Action, you lower the Weapons Shield. While lowered, the Weapons Shield provides no Evasion bonus and does not hinder your movement.

Raise Shield - As a Bonus Action or as a Reaction, you can raise the Weapons Shield. While raised, the Weapons Shield reduces your walking speed by 5 ft (1 space) and provides Low Cover. The Cover benefits this shield provides cannot be neutralized or reduced while it is worn or raised.

Mod - This piece of equipment can be attached to some weapons. Weapons with the Machine Gun mastery archetype and some Exotic Ranged weapons may have this accessory attached.

Shield - Provides varying degrees of cover, as specified in the Activities section. While lowered, this shield provides no Evasion bonuses. While raised, this shield provides Low Cover, and advantage on Dexterity Saving Throws against AOE effects.

A polymer-based shield that can be attached to some weapons to provide a small modicum of protection from weapons fire.
