You have spent your life in the service of the Pantheon of gods of Tennah. You spend your days carrying out the duties of the priests for a specific deity of the realm. Whether it be greeting worshipers at the entrance of the temple, selling items for worship, singing the songs of worship during services, collecting alms, feeding the poor, or some mundane minutia, you have faithfully devoted your life to the service of the gods Choose a specific god to serve or the entire pantheon (quintessence). Work with your DM to determine the specific nature of your service and how you came to leave this place of honor to become an adventurer. Perhaps you heard the call of the Avatar of the god whom you follow, or maybe you have decided you have had enough of the simple and protected life and devote yourself to the exploration of Tennah, or maybe some other not so sacred desire or purpose of the heart.
