Murai

The Murai are the fierce and predatory descendants of Murana, the Dark Spirit of Chaos and Consumption. They bear stag-like features such as jagged antlers, dark fur patches, and piercing crimson eyes. Their bodies radiate an aura of primal strength and hunger.

  • Predator’s Instinct. You have proficiency in the Survival skill.
  • Antlers of the Wild. Your antlers are natural weapons, dealing 1d6 piercing damage on a hit. You can use them as unarmed strikes and they are considered magical.
  • Wendigo Transformation. As a descendant of Murai, the Shadow from Ages Past, you have inherited the ability to channel your primal, chaotic nature. As a bonus action, you can transform into a Wendigo-like beast for 1 minute. While in this form, you gain the following benefits:
  • Increase in Size: Your size becomes Large, and your movement speed increases by 10 feet.
  • Enhanced Strength: You gain advantage on Strength-based checks and saving throws.
  • Chaotic Frenzy: You can make one additional melee attack when you take the attack action on your turn. These attacks deal an additional 1d6 damage of the same type as your weapon or natural attack (bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing).
  • Horrifying Presence: As an action, you can unleash a terrifying growl. Each creature of your choice within 15 feet of you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus) or be frightened for 1 minute. A frightened creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
  • Chaotic Powers: You gain a random benefit, rolled on the following table at the start of each of your turns while transformed:

  • If your Character is Below 8th Level you are considered Frenzied while in this stat attacking everything and every one close to you. At the beginning of each of your turns you need to succeed on a Wisdom save against a dc equal to (10 + the amount of Creatures within 30 feet of you) or be forced to use your entire turned to attack the closest creature to yourself.

Once you use this transformation, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.
