Phantasmal Reverie

You attempt to create a number of phantasmal phenomena into the mind of a creature you can see within range. The target makes an Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, you create up to 3 phantasmal objects, creatures, or other phenomena that are no larger than a 20-foot Cube and that are perceivable only to the target for the duration. The phantasms include sound, temperature, and other stimuli.   While concentrating on this spell you can use your action to change the nature and behaviour of the phantasms. For example, you might have a phantasmal creature melt into a caustic pool of acid or make your target's allies invisible to them after they've been reduced to ash.   The target can take a Study action to examine the phantasms with an Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC. If the check succeeds, the target realizes that a phantasm is an illusion. If he sees all phantasms for what they are, the spell ends.   While affected by the spell, the target treats the phantasm as if it were real and rationalizes any illogical outcomes from interacting with it. For example, if the target steps through a phantasmal bridge and survives the fall, it believes the bridge exists and something else caused it to fall. An affected target can even take damage from the illusion if a phantasm represents a dangerous creature or hazard. On each of your turns, the phantasms can deal a total of 3d8 Psychic damage to the target if it is within a phantasm's area or within 5 feet of a phantasm. The target perceives the damage as a type appropriate to the illusion.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell with a 6th Level Spell slot or higher, you can create an additional phantasm for each level above 5th and the total damage increases by 1d8.
