Description
You became a borai through a botched resurrection attempt—perhaps a magic spell was disrupted, a religious rite went awry, or faulty technology went haywire, resulting in your condition. Your soul is loosely tethered to your body, allowing you to temporarily shield your living form from the ravages of the void. You gain the Soul Shield reaction.
Soul Shield [Reaction] (void) Frequency once per day; Trigger You would take void damage; Effect You push your soul out of your body and use it as a shield to protect your living form from the ravages of the void. You gain void healing until the beginning of your next turn, meaning you’re damaged by vitality damage and healed by void effects that heal undead.
